Francisco Mendes Correia is a lawyer at Sérvulo & Associados. He specializes in national and cross-border banking and financial law issues, including in particular bank lending, real estate and asset finance, but also payment services and systems. Francisco also has broad experience in insolvency and restructuring work.
Francisco is also a Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where he obtained a law degree (2001), a master’s degree (2008) and a doctoral degree (2015). Francisco also holds Postgraduate diplomas in European Union Law from King’s College London (2012) and in Tax Law from ISEG (2002).
Francisco’s principal research interests are in the field of banking law, financial law and European Union private law.
